Hobbs gets some alone time

In a multi-dog household it's always nice to get out with the dogs individually so they get some time when they have your full attention.  So Wednesday it was Hobbs' turn and we met up with an adopter and former foster girl Willow (was Coho while in foster care) at an off leash park in Bellevue.

It's a quiet place that doesn't get a ton of use so it was just Willow, her cousin Hux, Hobbs and a couple big fluffy dogs who were very sweet.

Hux, just a pup, played the most and really enjoyed the chance to tear around. Hobbs spent a lot of time peeing around the fenceline. There's a lot of fence so it took awhile to spread himself around the perimeter. However, after that was done he and Willow did play a bit and even followed Hux around at a trot sometimes. In this video they had discovered there were treats with the people so were keeping close to the bench.

It was a lot of fun and much more relaxing and low key than if the other dogs had joined us. Hobbs was plenty worn out from his adventure and after finishing off a hunk of tendon in his crate, he snoozed the rest of the drive home.
